Now Discussing is an AI-assisted roundup of what people are talking about in public online, mainly on X (formerly Twitter) and other social platforms. Each article summarises a conversation that is getting attention: what people are saying, the main points of view, and links to the posts and sources behind it.
What we are not
Now Discussing is not a news outlet. We do not do original reporting, we do not interview people, and we do not independently verify the claims we describe. When an article says that people are discussing something, that is exactly what it means. It is a summary of public conversation, not a confirmation that any claim is true.
How articles are made
- Public discussion. We look at public posts and the sources they link to, such as articles, videos and official statements.
- AI drafting. Articles are drafted with AI language models, based on that public material.
- Automated checks. Drafts go through automated checks before publishing, for example for formatting, attribution and obvious problems.
- Follow-up review. About 24 hours after an article is published, it is reviewed again. If something turned out to be wrong, or the story has changed, we add an update, correction or retraction notice at the top of the article.
Featured images on the site are AI-generated illustrations. They are not photos of real events or real people.
These checks reduce mistakes, but they do not remove them. AI-drafted content can be inaccurate or incomplete, so please treat what you read here as a starting point and follow the links to the original sources.
