Our articles are drafted with AI language models, using public posts on X (formerly Twitter) and other platforms, plus the sources those posts link to. Drafts go through automated checks, and each article gets a follow-up review about 24 hours after publishing. Even so, AI-generated content can contain errors. It can misread context, mix up details, miss important facts, or describe something with more or less certainty than it deserves.
What people are saying, not established fact
Our articles describe conversations. When we report that people are claiming, saying or asking something, we are describing that discussion. We are not stating that the claim is true. We do not do original reporting and we do not independently verify claims. Public discussion can include rumours, jokes, opinions, speculation and misinformation, and a topic can change quickly as new information comes out.
